Welcome to Mansfield Cooperative School
Mansfield Cooperative School, known as "The Coop", is a recognized independent middle school in Richmond, Vermont. We know middle school can often be a difficult time, so we seek to strike a balance for our students between engaging and challenging academics and social-emotional needs. The Coop is a small school in which students are able to move at their own pace and receive individualized instruction. We help our students find the joy in learning. We engage with our community, learning from experts, volunteering, and applying our classroom work to the real world. Our students graduate with well-developed critical thinking skills, a commitment to community engagement, and self-confidence they can apply to future challenges. Middle schoolers THRIVE at the Coop!
